The annual Mystic Powerboats Cape Coral Owners Run, held December 5–7, was more than just a weekend on the water, it was a celebration of the people, performance, and passion that have defined Mystic for the past three decades.
With 20-plus Mystic boats and more than 100 owners and guests in attendance, the 2025 gathering marked one of the most successful and memorable owners events in the brand’s history, setting the tone for Mystic’s 30th anniversary celebration in 2026.
A Weekend Built Around the Water
Mystic owners returned to the Westin Cape Coral Resort, where the newly upgraded docks served as home base for the fleet throughout the weekend. From there, the group embarked on a series of scenic Southwest Florida runs that perfectly captured what these events are all about: exceptional boats, great destinations, and even better company.
Friday: Naples Kickoff
The weekend began with a morning run to Naples, where owners enjoyed a relaxed lunch at The Boathouse on Naples Bay. With sunny skies and calm conditions, it was an ideal way to launch the annual tradition.
Saturday: Punta Gorda Hospitality
Saturday’s run took the group to Riviera Bar and Grill in Punta Gorda, a longtime Mystic favorite. Founder John Cosker noted the venue’s legendary hospitality, calling it “always amazing,” and a perfect stop for the growing Mystic family.
Sunday: Cheeseburgers in Paradise
The weekend wrapped with a run to Cabbage Key, where owners enjoyed a classic “cheeseburger in paradise” experience. For Cosker, the stop was especially meaningful.
“I hadn’t been to Cabbage Key since 1997,” Cosker said with a laugh. “Back then, we were running the original 32-foot Mystic.”
A Show-Stopping M5200 and a Full Mystic Lineup
Every current Mystic model was represented at the event from 38-, 42-, and 52-foot center consoles to the 40-foot catamaran, showcasing the evolution of the brand over the past 30 years.
Stealing the spotlight was the Angle of Attack Marine Mystic M5200, a bold black-and-green, quad 600-hp Mercury-powered center console that turned heads all weekend. Featuring striking graphics, a crushed carbon-fiber cabin table, and one of the most expansive sound systems Mystic has ever installed, the boat drew constant attention on the docks.
“People loved the Angle of Attack M5200 being there,” said Cosker. “The boat showed really well, and it was great having Chris Richard from Angle of Attack Marine with us for the first time.”
A Night of Gratitude
Friday evening brought everyone together for a catered Mystic Owners Dinner at the Westin Cape Coral Resort. The atmosphere was relaxed, celebratory, and deeply personal.
During the dinner, John Cosker expressed heartfelt gratitude to the owners, reflecting on how far Mystic has come over the past 30 years and emphasizing that the company’s growth has always been fueled by its community.

A Standout Weekend
Beyond the camaraderie and cruising, the weekend also proved to be a strong sales moment for Mystic, with Cosker noting that several new deals came together during the event, underscoring the power of bringing owners, boats, and the Mystic team together in one place.
Owners traveled from as far as Michigan and Louisiana, and when asked about potentially moving the event to January, the feedback was unanimous: keep it in December.
“The weather was perfect, and people told us they love the early December dates,” Cosker said. “So we’re going to keep it right where it is.”
