The countdown is on. From August 20–23, 2025, the nation’s fastest performance boats will converge for the 37th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, a legendary celebration of speed, power, and precision. And once again, Mystic Powerboats will be at the heart of the action.
In 2024, the American Ethanol Mystic catamaran, a Mystic power boat, set the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout ablaze, hitting an astounding 221 mph on its very first and only run of the day. The speed run not only obliterated the previous record but also sent a powerful signal of what Mystic engineering is capable of achieving.
Billed as the largest unsanctioned boat race in the nation, the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is more than just a weekend competition; it’s a full week of adrenaline-charged festivities.

Throughout the week, Mystic owners and fans will gather for special events, including our Owners’ Lunch and the always-popular Mystic Breakfast Run. These gatherings are a chance to swap stories, talk performance, and celebrate the camaraderie that makes the Mystic family so special.
